All because of you,
I haven't slept in so long,
when I do I dream,
of drowning in the ocean,
longing for the shore,
where I can lay my head down,
I'll follow your voice,
all you have to do is,
shout it out!
This has nothing to do with that song but it is my faaaavourite. I'm working on a picture for it but it may be hundreds of year before I finish it.
I did this in art class and actully fnished it, which is quite amazing. I was getting a little behind (!) because I'm doing independant work and have a habit of starting 4875567 new things a class. I was reeeaaaallly tired and don't really remember starting this. On my way to my seat I tripped on my own foot and fell down. My art teacher handed me a huge piece of poster paper and a circle stencil and told me to do something with bubbles, and instructed me to do something bubbly with shapes and something about bubbles representing something about human nature, and then she started going off on a tangent as usual. Then she came back and handed me a paint can and said somehing about bubbly objects. I was very confused and the rest of my table laughed at me.
Anyway, this was the result...I think it has a theme? When I thought of bubbles I thought of drowning, and when I thought of drowning I thought of sleep. I dislike sleeping, I've had insomnia for at least 4 years. I hate going to sleep, and I hate waking up. Mostly because it really feels like drowning. It takes me ages to wake up completely, I keep getting sucked back into sleep and I hate the lack of control I have over my brain and body when I'm trying to wake up. I don't understand how some people can just fall asleep right away and pop out of bed.
Maybe you dont get the association but...it turned out pretty good, so, hoooooraaaaay.
I drew it in Trend Pen and used water to paint it by controlling the bleeding of the ink. That made no sense. Sorry.
This looks way better bigger and the picture is bad. :C
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
